Bombers family,
A group chat is great for getting a message out. But some conversations deserve a place we can come back to. The journey a player takes. A lesson that finally clicks. The things we learn as coaches and parents while our kids learn this game.
That’s why I’m starting Inside the Bombers.
I want this to be a place where I can talk to you as Coach Moe: about our organization, about baseball, and about what this experience means for the families living it with us.
The story behind the lineup
When we watch a game, we see who starts, who gets the hit, and what the scoreboard says. We don’t always see the work, the frustration, or the patience behind that moment.
Those are the stories I want to make room for. Player development takes time. Confidence takes time. Learning to handle a difficult day and showing up ready to work again is part of the journey, too.
A player’s spot in today’s lineup is one moment in a much longer journey.
What you’ll find here
I’ll share personal reflections and player-development lessons, updates from around the Bombers, and conversations about the travel baseball world. Some letters will focus on one story. Others will bring together what’s happening across our teams and community.
We’ll also make space for the people who help this organization move forward: our families, coaches, volunteers, and community supporters.
Stay in the conversation
We’re starting with a letter every other week, with an occasional update when something timely comes up. You can read the posts here on the website. Email signup is opening soon, so you’ll also be able to receive the newsletter in your inbox.
And I want to hear from you. If there’s a question you want me to address, a baseball topic worth discussing, or a Bombers story you think we should tell, send it my way.
Thank you for being part of this community and trusting us with a piece of your player’s journey.
